Hey my name is marc, i come from germany and i'm 28 years old. David contacted me about a link exchange and now i'm here. :-)

I have driven a FIAT Punto from 2005 to 2009. It was the modell 188 (a little car). It was in Europe very popular. After the Punto i change to the FIAT subsidiary company ALFA Romeo. From 2009 to 2011 i have driven a ALFA Romeo MiTo (1,4L with turbo injection). I changed the car, after two accidents and many costs :(. Now i'm drive a Alfa Romeo 159 SportWagon TI-Edition.

Here some pics of the cars:

Hey David, i edited my Thread again and now you see some pics of the cars.

The MiTo built since 2008 in Milano/Italia. The name MiTo based on "Myth" or the two places by Alfa Romeo MIlano/TOrino.
i have bought a brand new MiTo in 2009. It was the Turismo Edition (other BackBumper, 18" Rims, a brembo brake system and much more) with 155Hp, 6 Gears, not automatic. (In 2009 the biggest machine for the MiTo was the 1,4L TBi with 155Hp. In 2010 it came the MultiAir. The newer Alfa MiTo QV has 170Hp/180Hp) A special on this car is the D/N/A System. (dynamic/normal/all weather) As driver you can switch the mode. In the dynamic mode has 30nm more power and a better steering. The electronic on dynamic mode is not sensitive. Normal is the normal mode and in all weather mode the electronic (ESP/VDC) is very sensitive.

My conversions of this car: 30mm springs, and 40mm spacers. In December 2010 the road was very slippy and i have a big accident with the car. I crashed into a barrier. The Insurence paid the repair but now i have higher costs for the insurance. The second accident was in 2011, i have a "little" collision with a other car, but i paid the repair. i was out of luck with these car. After 2,5 Years invited me the Dealer. By accidents the car had a large loss of value. He made a better offer for the Alfa Romeo 159. I have the 159 since November 2011. It's a nice Diva. I call it "the big one" or "Giorgio".

Marc what extension are the pictures using (jpg, gif, etc.)? Maybe I need to adjust something on the forum because I still do not see them for some reason.

Wow that is a beautiful car. Are the brake calipers stock?

06-16-2012, 01:37 PM

thank you for ur comment! These brakes calipers are from "brembo" on a 330mm disc. Its a 4-piston brake. It is only in the "TI-Edition". It is the highest Edition by the 159. You can stop with the car from 100kmh to 0kmh in 36 meters.
